Fuwairit Photoshoot . . .

Fuwairit is a good location for photographers, having a sandy beach, you can also find a community of old houses with old cars hanging in their garage. A perfect background for any Model Shoot. PLus having a good model is definitely a big plus.

Here are some of my favorite takes. . .

Kung Hei Fat Choi - 2012

We almost forgot to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Good thing that one of our clubs here in the community serves chinese food. So we ordered some famous chinese dishes to grace our celebrations. Sweet and Sour fish, Kung Pao, Chinese Fried Rice and for long life, "Pancit" Chinese Noodles. May we all have a prosperous year ahead.

Looking for a Scooter . . .

I have been thinking of getting a scooter bike here in Qatar, unfortunately I cannot find one. They all sell Bike Bikes. What to do yanni?!

I heard that someone from here imports a scooter bike from UAE. I hope that is true, Because I will hunt him and buy one.

QATAR Motorshow 2012

This is been the second motorshow that I have witnessed here in Qatar, Although they showcase mostly luxury cars that only Arab Money can buy. I still find it entertaining, because I love cars. But this is still far from the ones we have back home. It is so much entertaining in the Philippines Motor Show, even not avid car lovers will be attracted. Why? Because of the beautiful and voluptous ladies that graced the show. It must be a complete package, although here they have also Caucasian beauties, Brunettes and some asians, Yet they are still far from better.

I want one!

Futuristic Bike!

Now, that's a concept car!

The Perfect Gift . . .

I celebrated my 38th Birthday last sunday (January 08) and having a bloodline of Chinese, I believe in the lucky number 8. Added to my birth date January 8, It is double the luck. But, again. One is not enough, so in total I have three 888s today.

Because, on the same day, I received the most valuable, priceless gift. A "Gift of Life" My youngest daughter. "Miel Christine Salvador Go" was born on the same day as mine.

She is so adorable, She is cutest baby in the world as she was described by one of my cousin. We are all happy to see her. Her tiny feet is so fragile, her cheeks is like a ripe plum. Today is the greatest day of our life.

Welcome to the world my precious princess.

Good Morning Sunshine

On our way to work this morning and saw this beautiful and magnificent sunshine and its rays slicing the dark clouds. It was truly amazing to appreciate God's Artwork. I will surely go back to his place to take a good shot of it from my DLSR. Thanks, Steve Jobs for creating the IPhone 4. I am looking forward to my next IP4s or IP5.

Photography is really my life.

Good News!

Yesterday, I went strolling at my favorite store in Villaggio mall (Virgin Mega-Store) and when I was at the magazine section, I took the local magazine, Time Out Doha and saw this article "Rumors or Fact" and I read that the Emir had declared the 2nd tuesday of February a National Sports day. A Non-working holiday for Qatar. As you can see here in Qatar there is less national holidays unlike in my country, If some prominent figure died, they will declare it as holiday. Good for workers and bad for Business Owners.

Well, Anyway it is truly a good news because more time for family and personal goals. So the better way to spread the rumors? Facebook it!

Say what? - Local Tongue

Being an expatriate and not able to speak, write and understand the local dialect is really a disadvantage. I learned this the hard way, And specially if you are living for a period of time in your host country.

The first thing that we need to do, is to understand the language. I had a hard time communicating when I was in the immigration dept of my host country. As the clerk, security, reception is also having some hard time understanding us.

So one of my goal now is to learn the local language to break the barrier and open more opportunities.

Planning Session for 2012

January 1st, is not a non-working holiday here in Qatar, So I took the 1st day of the year on my annual leave. Heck, They should give us time to plan for the year 2012.

Speaking of planning, I do my own session of planning. As they say "Plan your work and work your plan" I will work hard to make this plan work.

Planning is very vital to every person's success, Keeping a journal is also essential to keeping the plan to work.
